General Laborer

Trident Civil provides heavy civil construction services in Hampton Roads, specializing in infrastructure development. We are currently hiring full-time General Laborers to join our Water/Sewer line crews. Position Overview: Your duties will include performing essential tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our projects while adhering to safety and security regulations. This position requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Abide by all safety and security regulations on the job site.

• Assist in preparing the work site at the beginning of each shift.

• Handle and stage materials as needed for construction activities.

• Follow directions from the site Foreman or Superintendent.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks.

• Assist in installing storm drains, water, and sewer mains, including service connections.

• Participate in daily clean-up and return tools and equipment at the end of each shift.

• Lift 50+ pounds and carry, push, or pull heavy objects as required.

• Stay attentive and mindful of surroundings to maintain a safe work environment.

• Wear protective equipment/gear as necessary (gloves, eye wear, hard hats, steel-toed boots, etc.).
   

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license preferred.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Physically capable of performing the duties outlined above.

• Home daily

• Monday to Friday
