Superintendent

The duties of the Superintendent include but are not limited to the following items and physical requirements.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage effectively and professionally the day-day activities on the construction projects utilizing up to three superintendents. 

  • Understand full scope of work and prepare/maintain schedules and high-quality standards. 

  • Interpretation and implementation of site plans/contract documents to ensure that construction follows plan/scope, scheduling and milestones monitoring, cost/change order awareness, document management. 

  • Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies.

  • Create a zero-tolerance safety culture. 

  • Perform close-out process and ensure punch list is completed in a timely manner and to the clients’ satisfaction. 

  • Maintain all required paperwork for responsible work sites 

 

Candidate Profile:

 

  • Skilled in the use of personnel and equipment in the infrastructure segment.
     

  • Considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safe work practices. 
     

  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
     

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office/Project Scheduling preferred) 
     

  • Strong Leadership and Excellent communication skills. 
     

  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.

 

Job Qualifications:


Minimum of 15+ years in infrastructure construction with 7 years in a successful supervisory capacity.

Proven leadership track record.
Experience managing projects from $1MM - $20MM.  

Experience preparing technical memos, project reports, and other documentation as required. 
Clean driving record. 
Ability to pass background check for access to certain restricted project sites.

OSHA 30 is a plus.
